A very welcome donation to boost FoRP funds was by Val Bell, a local artist, whose picture of 'The Carriage House from Mansion Lane' (see thumbnail on lefthand side of banner above) featured in the Newsletter September 2009. A full sized Print is available in a 'Limited Edition' on top quality paper within a 400mmx300mm mount and sells for £35 - please email: messages@forp.co.uk if you are interested in purchasing one.

Previous generous donations include that from the Lester Family giving rise to the wonderful Lester Library - see thumbnail on righthand side of the banner above.

Any park can only sustain a certain number of benches with commemorative plaques and none are now accepted at Roundhay; perhaps you could finance another lasting tribute to a family member or friend. FoRP are happy to discuss the use of a donation with the donor and could ensure that the money be spent on a durable (if not permanent) memorial or asset to be enjoyed by future generations. There again, you could leave the decision to FoRP.

Rest assured, any donation, however big or small, will be expended by FoRP on a project designed to achieve the maximum advantage to Park users within the terms of our Objectives.

Way back in May 2003, we gained Charitable Status, so you can be comforted by the fact that you will be making a tax efficient donation.
